JEAN SCOTT

Jean Marguerite Curtis Scott, age 87, went home to our heavenly Father on Saturday, December 4, 2021. She was born on July 17, 1934, in Kodaikanal, India to the late Phillip and Doris (nee Bowen) Curtis.

Jean graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Nursing and worked as pediatric nurse, in public health nursing and in later years as a director of nursing for Staff Builders She also became a massage therapist working out of the home. The 15 years are so she devoted to her children as a stay-at-home Mom she always referred to as her halcyon years. She enjoyed singing, gardening, crafting, and swimming at her favorite lighthouse beach at Presque Isle.

Jean will be deeply missed by her children Susan Johnson (Nate) and Alan Scott (Heather): her grandchildren Laura Goldenberg (David), Rachel Gonzalez (Rigo), Hannah, Caleb, Daniel, Hope, Luke and Katie Johnson, and Liam Scott as well as her great grandchildren Arianna, Alliah, Lilah, Mia, Samuel and Elijah.

Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband William Scott, and her siblings Phillip Curtis, Paul Curtis and Don Curtis.

The family would like to invite friends and family for visitation and service to honor Jean's memory on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Rd. (1/2 mile south of route 303), Brunswick. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm and the service from 7:00 pm to 7:30 pm. Pastor Michael Mangus will be officiating.
