Jennie (nee Hursky) Meyers, age 83, left to be with the Lord our God on May 23, 2019 at Lifecare of Medina.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late William and Mary (nee Petrovani) Hursky on September 5, 1935. She and her husband, Launcelot “Muzzy” moved from Cleveland to Brunswick, Ohio earlier on. There she became a breeder, mentor, and artist. She loved all animals, enjoyed music, gardening, food, and socializing. Above all, she cherished and loved her family. Being so kind in heart she took part in raising and caring for her nieces, great nieces and nephews.
Jennie is preceded in death by her dear husband, Lance in 1997; son Darrell in 1993; brothers William in 1989, John in 2016 and Michael in 2017.
Jennie will be dearly missed by her twin sister, Stephanie Pierce of Creston; dear brother, George of Cleveland; and many nieces and nephews. Her kindness and love for her family will be remembered by all.
Visitation for Jennie will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 4-7 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 10:00 am. in the funeral home, followed by burial at Town Line Cemetery, Brunswick.
