He was employed as a pipefitter and was a member of the Northeast Ohio Camero Club. He enjoyed rebuilding show cars and racing and loved spending time with his family and his dog companions. He leaves behind his loving daughters; Denise and LeeAnn and grandchild Elizabeth (Izzy) and sister; Carol Ann Taylor. Preceding Jerome in death were his parents; Carl W. and Bernadette (nee Klamert) Hippler. All services are private and final resting place will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Valley City, Ohio.
