Joan Eileen (nee Biro) Ryan, 78 of Brunswick, passed away on October 15, 2012 at Medina Hospital.
She was born December 2, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to Stephen and Eileen (nee Kramer) Biro.
Joan married Francis “Frank” Ryan. She loved to dance, crochet, ice skate and was the past president of the Ladies Guild of The Knights of Columbus and was a member of the Ladies Club of St. Colette’s Parish.
She is survived by her beloved husband Frank; loving children Joan Bogan, Jacqueline Ryan, and Michael (Michelle) Ryan; siblings George (Sally-deceased) Biro and Judith (Thomas) Leonti; grandchildren Elizabeth, Sean (Kristen), Erin; great grandchildren: Cory, Tyler and Talise.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Maureen, sister-in-law Sally Biro and her parents.
Friends may join the family for Visitation on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 19, 2012 with visitation 1 hour prior 9:30 AM to10:30 AM at St. Colette’s Catholic Church 330 W. 130th Street, Brunswick with Fr. William Krizner officiating. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Cleveland. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations be made to a charity of your choice.
