He was born in Parma, Ohio to Jeffrey and Rhonda (nee Hunt) Hoop. Jody was employed with P. and H. Mining in Valley View. His membership included: Theta Xi, Kentucky Colonels, and the Emergency Response Team at P. and H. Mining. Jody enjoyed time with family, friends, tailgating, golf, hockey, and freshwater fishing. He had a love of animals particularly his salt water fish and cats. His family and friends will miss him dearly, they include; his loving wife Vallerie Propper, parents, Jeffrey and Rhonda of Hinckley, sister, Jeremie Anne (Steven) Pesek of Medina, niece’s Jillian Anne Pesek, Isabella Stuehr, and nephew Daniel Stuehr. Preceding Jody in death were his grandparents; Jerold P. and Joan Hoop and Wilbur and Thelma Hunt. Memorial visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2011 from 11 AM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 8 PM. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt. 18) Medina, Ohio.
