JOHN DOUGLAS BROWNING

John Douglas Browning, age 76, of Brunswick, left this world to be with his Heavenly Father on January 2, 2017. He was born October 28, 1940 in Blair, West Virginia to the late Douglas and Olive (nee Burgress) Browning.
John was a devoted and loving husband, father, and papaw. His favorite pastimes included fishing and hunting.
He will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 56 years, Linda (nee Slusher); children, Greg, Lori Browning (Rick), and Elana (David) Taylor; grandchildren, Matthew and Dana; his best friends, Charlie, Lonnie, and Bill; and many loved ones and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Alice Mahr.
Friends may join the family for visitation Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 4 to 8 pm at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 6, 2017 at 11:00 am also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at River Road Cemetery in LaGrange, Ohio.
