JOHN DOMASKY JR

John Steve Domasky, age 73, of Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. He was born on August 19, 1948, to the late John and Angeline (nee Krapinski) Domasky Sr.

He was an avid lover of music, learning to play the piano at an early age and leading up to teaching himself other musical instruments, including the drums and guitar. John worked for many years at LTV Steel. In his younger years and until he passed, he always had an affinity for fast cars. During his late 20's he would wake his family up early in the morning to get to the races. Staying past midnight, they were no strangers to Dragway 42 and Norwalk.

He always loved his pets. Throughout the years, John owned many pets. Two of his favorites were Gray, the cat and Elvis, the dog. He requested that all of his pets be scattered near his final resting place.

John is survived by his loving daughter, Sherry A. Denby; grandchildren, Michael Vasiliou, Blaine Geary III, Samantha Talmon, and Michelle Talmon.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Marianne Talmon; and sisters, Virginia Nied and Joan Varkett.

Please join the family for a Memorial Visitation for John on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road in Brunswick, OH 44212. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation. Facial coverings are required. Please observe social distancing guidelines. The Domasky family entrusted John's care to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Brunswick.
