JOHN E. ORAVEC

John E. Oravec, Sr. age 93, of Brunswick, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Willowood Nursing Home. He was born on April 28 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John and Ann (nee Kovar) Oravec.
He served in the US Army during WW II. John was a founding member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Brunswick and a lifetime member of VFW Post #9520.
John is survived by his loving children, John Jr. (Margaret) and Pamela Huston; and his dear grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Emily J. (nee Tobik) Oravec in January 2020.
Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick were entrusted to handle the arrangements.
