John James Pawlus, Sr., age 73, passed away on April 11, 2014. John was a loving wonderful husband who would do anything for his family.
He was a devout Cleveland Indians and Browns fan and loved his garden. After serving in the U.S. Army, John worked for MTD and retired after 42 years.
He will be missed by his beloved wife Karen (nee Ware) and children, Ronald, Sharon, Barb Christian; grandchildren, Mary, Devon, and Craig.
John was preceded in death by his son John Jr., and his daughter Karen.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Sunday April 13, 2014 from 4 to 6 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, April 14, 2014 St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Rd. Brunswick, OH 44212 followed by interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Valley City, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to “The Celebrate Life Fund” c/o Tridia Hospice, 5000 Rockside Rd., #150, Independence, OH 44131.
