JOHN A. STROPOLI

John A. Stropoli 81, of Sharon Center, passed away on Friday August 24, 2012, at Cleveland Clinic-Medina General Hospital.
He was born August 18, 1931, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Ciro and Antonia (nee Calefore ) Stropoli.
John served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Later, John married Letizia - “Lettie, she passed away November 30, 2007. He enjoyed watching football, gardening, and spending time visiting the Center for Older Adults in Wadsworth. John was a member of Carpenters Local # 639.
He is survived by his son; John G and daughter; Louann, sisters; Teresa Bell, Mary Lesnick and Chris Franz.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, brothers, Frank and Joe and Connie Vaughn.
Family invites friends for Memorial Visitation on Wednesday August 29, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road, (corner of Rt. 18 and River Styx Rd) Medina, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held following visitation at 8 PM. Contributions may be made to Center for Older Adults 138 High St. Wadsworth Oh 44281.
