Joseph Stephen Vallo

Photo: Obituary: Joseph Stephen Vallo age 83, of Bath, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Wade Park Veterans Hospital. He was born on December 15, 1929 to Peter and Elizabeth (nee Stolar) Vallo. Joseph served in the United States Army. He attended Catholic Charities Daycare and was avid bowler and Cleveland Browns and Indians Fan. He loved to photograph many things he found interesting. Joseph spent 13 years residing at the home of his niece Betsy and David Doran and his great nieces Maggie and Emily who loved him dearly. Surviving him are his nieces and nephews; Betsy, Peggy, Arnold, Patty, Nancy, Leonard, and David. Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters; Elizabeth, Margaret, Mary and Dorothy, and his nephew Dan and niece Sandy. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 3477 Medina Road, (corner of Rt. 18 and River Styx Rd) Medina, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM on Saturday January 12, 2013 at St. Martin of Tours Church 1800 Station Road Valley City. Prior visitation will be from 9 to 10 AM at Carlson Funeral Home. Fr. Thomas Dunphy will officiating Mass. Burial in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Rittman with Military Honors on Monday January 14, 2013 at 10 AM.
