City: Medina Photo: Obituary: Josie L. Douglas 93, of Medina passed away March 13, 2012. She was born on May 13, 1918 in Akron, Ohio to Edgar and Lela (nee Finney) Harris. Josie loved her family and was the Secretary involved with the family’s business, Douglas Electric. She leaves behind son Fred W. (Susan) Douglas, daughter Edith (Gordon) Checketts, 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law Marilyn Douglas, sisters; Anne (Pat) Dunn, and Betty (Leon) Lowden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd, son Gary, great-granddaughter Jessica Douglas and her brothers and sister. Friends may join the family for Visitation on Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 1642 Pearl Road (1/2 mile south of Rt. 303) Brunswick, Ohio and 1 hour 11:30 to 12:30, prior to Funeral Services at 12:30 being held Friday, March 16, 2012.
