Photo: Obituary: Katherine A. Pronik (nee Parobecheck ), 86 of Medina (formerly of Brunswick), passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012. She was born March 17, 1926. After working at the telephone company for many years, she married Joseph H. Pronik on October 4, 1952. She was a warm, funny, smart and loving wife, mother, grandmother, “grandma grandma”, and friend. Katherine loved spending time with her children, grandkids and great grandkids. She also loved coffee, chocolate, flowers, hummingbirds and spending time outdoors either watching the clouds or gardening in her beautiful yard. To honor her, plant some flowers, plant a tree, feed the birds! She is survived by her daughter Catherine Pronik of Medina, daughter-in-law Kelly Pronik (nee Harbert) of Medina; daughter Mary (Dean) Balog of Cleveland; son Joseph (Betty) Pronik of Brunswick; granddaughter Rebecca (Mike) Rieta of Brunswick; grandson Christopher (Kristen) Pronik of Medina; grandson Zachary Balog of Cleveland; and great grandchildren Michael Rieta, Grace Pronik and Gregory Pronik II. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph H. Pronik and her dearly missed son Gregory E. Pronik I. A special thanks to all those that helped care for her especially Annie, Kaysie, Bridges Home Healthcare and all the wonderful staff at IPC/HMC. You all are angels.
