Kay R. Mitchell, 74, formerly of Windham, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022. She was born October 24, 1947, to the late Kenneth and Helen Bennett.
She like to read and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Kay was a strong willed, loving, independent woman who never wanted to be a bother.
Kay will be deeply missed by her daughters, Judy (Scott) Iwanyckyj and Sue (Joel) Gotham. Kay had 5 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband, Ralph Mitchell.
Per Kay's wishes, she is to be cremated. Her daughters plan to inurn her with her husband's cremains at Windham Township Cemetery, where they will be at rest together. Care for Kay was entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH, 44231.
