Laco B. Rader, 72, of Freedom Township, passed away Saturday, November 13, 2010. He was a 1956 graduate of Windham High School.
After serving in the United States Marines,Laco worked at Harbison-Walker for 38 years before retiring as a department head. Laco enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading, and spending time with his beloved family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lanora (Carver); sons Edward (Lisa) Lee of Streetsboro, Jeff Rader of Streetsboro, and Brian (Teresa) Rader of Freedom Township; brothers Demoine (Jill) Louk of Stow, and Lunydol (Patricia) Louk of Kent; sister Laniece (Dale) Hood of Brunswick; grandchildren Nicole, Amanda, Danielle, Robert, Breanna, Brent, Julianna, Cody, Jane, and Rachel; and great grandchildren Alexa and Madden.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. His funeral service is Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev.Fred Youngen officiating. Burial will follow at Windham Township Cemetery in Windham.
