LARRY J. CUMMINGS
February 20, 1934 — March 30, 2020
Larry J. “Doc” Cummings, age 86, of Brunswick, passed away on March 30, 2020, after a period of declining health at Brunswick Pointe.
He was born on February 20, 1934 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Richard and Wanda (nee Berry) Cummings.
He served in the United States Marines during the Korean Conflict, and then served in the US Army as well. He went on to have a long career with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He was also a long standing member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jerry Cummings.
The family will receive friends for visitation for “Doc” on Monday, June 29, 2020, from 11:30 am until time of service at 12:30 at the Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick. Burial will follow at 2pm at OWRNC, Seville.
There will be a celebration of life party at the Brunswick Eagles at a later date this year.
