Larry R. Metheny, 61, of Garrettsville passed away peacefully on September 18, 2018. He was born on September 8, 1957 in Warren, Ohio to Ray (Alice) Metheny and Barb (Bob) Scott.
He was a graduate of Grand Valley High School in 1975. Larry worked in construction for many years. He will be deeply missed by all!
Larry is survived by his wife, Mary (Preising); children, Heather (Ray) McGarvey, Larry (Shannon) Metheny, Jacci (Matt Brasko) Metheny; grandchildren, Raymond, Brandon, Jonnie, Alex, Nathaniel, Terryan, Kylea, Chase, Chance and Lilly; siblings, Linda (Keith) Goldberg, Kim (Dennis) Thompson, Karrie (Carl) Clark, Dawn (Mike) Talley, Bob (Darla) Scott and Jim Metheny.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Services to follow, 12:00 PM the funeral home with Father John T. Burkley officiating. Burial in Park Cemetery.
