Laura F. Petrus, age 78, passed away on March 5, 2014. She was born to Orvel and Merle (nee Stafford) Arthurs on February 4, 1936 in New Boston, Ohio.
Laura was a loving, wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. Laura also crocheted, collected dolls; she was an expert TV remote operator and loved playing cards with her best friends, Earl and Jerry.
She will be missed by her beloved children, Diana (Gary) Saunders, Michael (Nancy), Robert (Karen), John; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; niece, Gail (whom Laura was like a mother to); and her sister, Wanda.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William; son, Billy; granddaughter, Nicole; and brothers, Don, Raymond, and Gene.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 6-8PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11AM at the funeral home, followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio.
