Laverne Kropp, 84 of Windham, passed away on Sunday May 11, 2014 in Twinsburg, Ohio. She was born April 8, 1930 in Washington, PA to Kenneth Shannon and Lucille (McKinney) Smith. Laverne was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Alona Farkas of Twinsburg, Donald Carpenter of PA, Bonnie Hatfield of Freedom and Pamela Puleo of Ravenna; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ralph E. Carpenter and Robert H. Kropp; sons, Ralph E. Carpenter Jr. and Bryan Carpenter; daughter Sherry Carpenter; and a grandson, Frank C. DeSensi IIIl.
Private services will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231.
