Lawrence Vavra, 62 of Aurora, passed away unexpectedly. He was born December 14, 1947 in Cleveland and grew up in Brunswick.
He was a United States Air Force veteran serving in Vietnam in communications and was a freelance air and car designer engineer. He was a 1965 Brunswick High School Graduate, Graduated from Akron University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, was a member of the Porsche Automobile Club, worked all over the country, and loved singing karaoke.
Larry was the beloved son of June and the late Leonard Vavra; brother of Gregory (Angela), Bruce, Cheryl (Vince) Terry, Wendy (Jerry) Guzi, and Kelly (Matt) Cappelli; uncle of Brian and Melissa Vavra and Adam Krisko; and friend to many. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
