LEAH RAE MAKOWSKI

Leah Rae Makowski (nee Eberle) passed away December 25, 2018 at her home in Medina, Ohio.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Callie Rae (Fred) Pilkington and their 4 children; brother, John (Lyn) Eberle, and nephew, Scott Eberle of Elyria, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Makowski, whom she was married to for 56 years; son, Stanley Richard and sister, Joan Lee Eberle
Leah was born July 25, 1937 in Sewickley, PA. She attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English. She taught high school English for a short time in New Jersey. Leah was a member of the Medina Eagles, Rustic Hills Country Club, and the ladies auxiliary for the VFW. She enjoyed golf and bowling. Leah was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Friends may join the family for Leah’s visitation on Wednesday January 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road, Medina, OH 44256. A Funeral Service will be held for Leah on Thursday January 3, 2018 at 12:45, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH.
