LEONORA JEAN BOWEN

Leonora Jean Bowen, 86, of Garrettsville, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2019. She was born on October 24, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio to Cleon and Anna (Fridich) Parker.
She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness for more than 55 years. Jean belonged to multiple congregations in northeast Ohio. She was a loving mother to her 3 sons. Jean was an excellent baker and loved all animals. She enjoyed shopping at thrift stores and sewing.
Jean is survived by her sons, David and Ronald Bowen both of Garrettsville and Father Daniel Bowen, O.de M. of the Order of The Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy (Mercedarian Friars USA).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert S. Bowen and siblings, Frederick Parker and Peggy Paytosh.
Honoring Jean's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private burial to be held in Knollwood Cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
