Louella J. Humphries

: : : Photo: Obituary: Louella J. Humphries (nee Dolan), 76 of Brunswick passed away on August 10, 2012. She was born in East Rainelle, West Virginia July 28, 1936 to Roy and Audrey (nee Lockhart) Dolan. Louella married Carl Humphries on June 7, 1954. She enjoyed her family and was an avid reader of novels. She also loved camping, traveling and had a passion for her pets especially cats. Louella retired after 12 years of service as a home health aide besides being a homemaker. She started the West Virginia Gospel Singing Convention at age 11 in Mt. Nebo, West Virgina. Louella is survived by her beloved husband Carl, loving children; Wendy (Timothy) Valus and David; brother Ronald (Linda) Dolan; grandchildren Heather (Joseph); great grandchildren Sienna, Cody, Adaya. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Eleanor Likes. Friends may join the family for Visitation on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick, OH.
