MARGARET MITCHELL

Margaret Mitchell (nee Fondaw), age 83, of Medina, OH, passed away on January 28, 2022. She was born on March 31, 1938, at Paducah KY to the late Edgar and Bernice (nee Jarboe) Fondaw.
In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Mitchell and sisters, Betty Okdie, Roberta Duckworth and Dorothy Miller.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Mitchell Shaw (Ralph) and Roxanne Mitchell Boersma (Brian); grandchildren Tiffany Shaw Rardin (Rob), Erin Shaw Stoll (Caleb), Steven Boersma and Rachel Boersma Barry (Paul), as well as her great grandchildren, Landon, Owen, Weston, Lane, Aubrey, and Lucas.
She loved to make dollhouses, which she donated several to various charities. She was also an avid knitter and created Fairy Gardens. She and her husband belonged to several Yacht Clubs and enjoyed boating during the summer months. Margaret's career as a bookkeeper for retail and manufacturing was something she truly enjoyed.
All services for Margaret are private and have been entrusted to Carlson Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Rd., Medina, Ohio.
