MARGARET "PEG" ANN BRAY
September 13, 1928 — November 7, 2015
Margaret (Peg) Ann Bray joined her Lord and Savior on Saturday November 7, 2015. She was born on September 13, 1928 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Ira and Mary (Hanson) Shiplett.
Peg loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, “kids were her thing”. She was a member of St. Ambrose Altar & Rosary Society, she worked many funeral luncheons and church dinners, serving others. She also participated in the Red Cross blood drives. One of her favorite pastimes was driving through the countryside and watching boats on the lake.
She will be greatly missed by her loving children, Michael of Ravenna, Larry (Sharon) of Montpelier, Rebecca (Larry) Hatfield of Avon, Indiana, Marcia (George) Cunningham of Ravenna, Timothy of Palm Bay Florida, and Jeanette (Bruce) Bray-McIntosh of Girard; sisters, Jane Colopy of Canton and Rita Shea of Garrettsville; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Peg was preceded in death by her husband James; brother, Raymond Shiplett; sister Kathleen Andrews; and special friend Ken Sellers.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Monday November 9, 2015 from 6 – 8 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, OH 44231. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday November 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 10692 Freedom St. Garrettsville, OH 44231 with Fr. Stephen Zeigler officiating. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery.
