MARIANNA JEAN PEKAR

Marianna Jean Pekar (nee Jaskolka), age 70, of Strongsville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 where she embraced her husband John in heaven. Marianna and John were married on October 1, 1960 and shared 50 loving years together. Now they are forever back in each other’s arms.
Marianna was the daughter of Matthew and Mary (nee Drellick) Jaskolka. She was born on December 12, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. Marianna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great–grandmother and friend to many who enjoyed spending time with her family.
Marianna will be dearly missed by her loving children, John (Tina) and Michael (Lucia) Pekar; grandchildren, Nathan, Kristopher, Alexander, Jennifer, Ryan, Kyle and Austin Pekar; great-granddaughter Olivia; nieces Sara and Abbey; great niece Gretta and great nephew Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Joseph, her parents and daughter-in-law Nancy.
A memorial service will be in February. Family and friends will be notified of the date.
