Mary B. Cowling (nee Zirke), age 57, resident of MontvilleTwp. Medina, went peacefully with the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2014 with her family by her side after a year-long battle with cancer. She was born on May 4, 1956 to Carl and Elizabeth Jean (nee McNamara) in Willowick,Ohio.
Mary and Thomas were married on July 13, 1982. Mary was a lover of animals; a kind and outgoing person. She loved with all her heart, her family, especially her grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed; by husband Thomas; daughter Sherri (Kevin) Shinsky; grandchildren Chad and Cole; brothers Dick (Karen) Zirke, Bill, Terry (Marilyn), Tim (Monica).
She is preceded in death by her parents.
The family invites friends for a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 12 (Noon) to 2 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt.18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Memorial Funeral Service to follow at 2 PM also at the funeral home. Fr. Thomas Dunphy officiating.
Family request contributions may be directed to the Medina County SPCA, 245 S. Medina Rd. Medina, Ohio 44256.
