Mary Mast, 65, of Southington, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 13, 2010. She was a homemaker and loved gardening, flowers and reading. She especially cherished time spent with her family. Mary was born on February 22, 1945 in Atlantic, Pennsylvania to Wallie J. and Barbara (Schrock) Byler.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mary is survived by her husband, Alan; a son, Philip (Jennifer) of Trenton, MI; a daughter, Barbara of Garrettsville; one grandchild, Evan; six brothers, Eli (Sylvia) of Mumfordville, KY, Joseph (Katherine) of Middlefield, Jonas of Chardon, Lester (Mary Ellen) of Orwell, Harvey (Fanny) of Burton and Wallie, Jr. (Martha) of Atlantic ,PA; and three sisters, Emma (Andy S.) Kauffman of Middlefield, and Clara and Fannie, both of Atlantic, PA.
Calling hours are 2-5 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231, and from 10 to 11 AM at the church on Tuesday. The funeral service will be held on TUESDAY, May 18 at 11 AM at Victory Christian Center, 3899 McCartney Road, Lowellville, OH 44436, with Pastor David Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Harrington Cemetery, Nelson Twp., Ohio.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Victory Compassion Ministries, 15 Bedford Rd., Lowellville, OH 44436.
