MATILDA "TILLIE" K. MCDIVITT

Matilda “Tillie” K. McDivitt, 99, of Windham, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2017 at her home. She was born on May 26, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio to Louis and Ida (Bakos) Kover. Tillie married the love of her life, Edward T. McDivitt, on July 31, 1937.

She was a member of the Windham United Methodist Church since 1938. Tillie enjoyed reading and gardening. She loved her pets and cherished time spent with her family, friends and grandchildren.

Tillie is survived by her son, Robert T. (Bonita) McDivitt of Windham; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; daughters, Joyce E. Heckman and Sally A. McDivitt; and her three sisters.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 11AM – 12 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio. Services to follow, 12 PM at the funeral home. Burial to be held in Windham Township Cemetery.
