City: Visitation Details: Service Details: Photo: Obituary: Max Quatinetz, 96, who most recently resided at The Pines at Brooks House, formerly of Bay Village, was reunited with his wife, Pearl on Sunday, March 11, 2012. He was born November 4, 1915 to Phillip and Bella Quatinetz in New York City. He met the love of his life Pearl Gartner in New York City; they wed and began a joyous journey of 63 years together. Max pursued engineering degrees and became a “Rocket Scientist” at N.A.S.A. retiring in 1975. He loved ice cream. Max most cherished spending time with his beloved grandchildren, family and friends. Max is survived by his daughter Carol Oakford of Southington; grandchild Troy (Donna) Myers of TN; and great-grandchildren Sydney and Megan Myers both of TN. He was preceded in death by is wife Pearl, his parents and his brother Sydney. A private graveside service has already taken place at Park Cemetery in Garrettsville.
