Maxine McCumber, 89, of Windham, passed away on Sunday April 7, 2019 with her loving family at her side. She was born June 28, 1929 in Calhoun County, West Virginia to Peter and Mary (Metz) Helmick.
She loved to go camping, travel and work in her garden. Her favorite past time was spending time with her family that she adored. And travelling some more.
Maxine will be dearly missed by her loving partner of 40 years, Sonny Moore; children, Linda (Ken) Janecek and Fran Bailey-McMahan; bonus children, Becky Donna, Janetta Ress, Howard (Robbin) Moore, Birdinia (Larry) Ress, Harry (Michelle) Moore, Pauline (Aaron) Reedy and Tammy Shepard; grandchildren, Jonathan Janecek, Tammy (Jeff) Siger, Kimberly (Mike) Heiss, Terri Kay (Paul) Moncoveish, Tracy (John) Klein, Sandra (Aaron) Bales, Justin McMahon, Matthew McMahon, Lois, Benny, Missy, Stacie, Krystal, Ellsbeth, Amria, Gary, Duane, Richard (Megan), Sherri, Tawnia, Nicky, Nicole, Mike, Erin, Alex, Tim, Brittney; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Siger, Jaime & Haley Keffer, Scarlett McMahan Calvann McMahan, Mya Brown, Ashley, Megan and Jake Bales, Madison and Milee Moncoveish, Calahan and Harltley Heiss, Kamren, Chris Kendall, Terry, Keyshaun, Philisia, Email, Jeni, Jax, Zoey, Garrett, Elizabeth, Alexandra, Emily, Domenik, Lil Richard, Aiden, Daniel, Amarykis, Joseph, Noah, Brandon, Zavon, Cheryl and 3 great-great granchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons Calvin and Michael Bailey and her 7 brothers and sisters.

Please join Maxine's family for visitation on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Service 8382 Center St. Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service for Maxine will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Windham Township Cemetery.
