NANCY FURGERSON

Nancy Furgerson, age 61, of Garrettsville, Ohio, passed away on May 18, 2014. She was born on September 12, 1952 in West Virginia to James and Mary Ethel (nee Willie) Webb.

She adored her grandchildren and loved to attend all of their events. She also loved to shop; and most of all spending time with her beloved family and friends. Nancy was employed as an office manager at Troy Innovative Instruments. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt who loved her family dearly.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Mark; children, Robert (Krista) Atkinson of Garrettsville, Timothy (Phoebe) Atkinson of Chardon, Jessica (Jason) Kardamis of Solon, Shari (Shawn) Dieringer of Freedom, Scott (Mary) Furgerson of Columbus; mother, Mary Ethel Webb of Indiana; grandchildren, Isabella, Sydney, Cooper, Zak, Riley, Brynlynn, Aaron, Lexi, Austin, Lily, and Ben; brothers, George (Debbie) Webb of Indiana, James (Wanda) Webb of Cleveland, Earl of Cleveland; sisters, Gloria (Kenneth) Taylor of Indiana, Arnetta (Stacy) Vaughn of West Virginia; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved father, James; grandparents, George and Minerva Webb, Robert and Stella Willie; and brother, Michael.

The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff of the Hospice of Western Reserve, Willoughby, Ohio (especially, Debbie Brinkman), and requests that donations be made in Nancy’s name to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Institute, Northeast Ohio Division, 26210 Emery Road, Suite 307, Cleveland, OH 44128.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Thursday May 22, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. A funeral service will be Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Garrettsville, Ohio.
