Nancy Parks, 78, of Kent, passed away on January 5, 2016. She was born on January 21, 1937 to Malcolm and Rena (Joseph) Williams in Bellevue, Ohio.
Her lifetime passion and love were children and plants. Nancy was a master gardner, early childhood educator and caregiver. She cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Janet (Roy) Hahn of Garrettsville; son, Jim (Gayle) Parks of Streetsboro; brother, John Williams of Concord and grandchildren, Caroline, Abigail, Mary Ellen, Carl, Catherine, Jake and Jessica.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Malcolm “Sonny” Williams.
Per Nancy’s request cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
