Norman Dunbar

Photo: Obituary: Norman E. Dunbar, 92 of Garrettsville, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at the Woodlands of Ravenna. He was born August 21, 1919 in Yorkville, Ohio to Harry G. and Florence (Fromberry) Dunbar. Norman was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII and was a Tire Mold Finisher at Akron Standard and a member of Windham Bible Church. He is survived by his wife, Helen W. (Farris) Dunbar of Garrettsville, children, John (Patricia) Dunbar of Lake Milton, Timothy Norman (Judith) Dunbar of Garrettsville, Scott Andrew (Ilse) Dunbar of Atwater, Judith Bray of Stow and Patricia Jean “Theodore” Gagnon of Garrettsville, 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers Clarence Elmer, Pete, Harry, Paul and Francis; sisters Cora Boggs, Florence Dunbar Grace Hogarth and Ethel Easterling. Calling hours are from 11-1:00 PM on Monday at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231 where funeral services will be at 1PM.
