PATRICK W. MCKENNA

Patrick W. McKenna, 83 of Medina passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at his home. He was born May 11, 1927 in Spokane, Washington to Earl and Margaret (nee Riley) McKenna and moved to Medina in 1973.
He was a United States Navy Veteran serving in WWII. Patrick was Owner, President, and CEO of Plasti-Kote Co., Inc. in Medina and was Owner, President, and CEO of Tempo Products Company in Solon. He had a passion for golf and was a member of Sharon Golf Club, Firestone Country Club, and Eagle Creek Country Club in Naples, Florida. He was an avid reader and enjoyed wintering in Florida.
Mr. McKenna is survived by his wife Christine (nee Balzer) McKenna; children Michael (Fredericka) McKenna, Patricia (Bruce) Wass-Cunningham, John McKenna, Jon (Camille) Wyville, and Heather (Don) Wyville-Joslin; and grandchildren Jeffrey, Ryan, Alix, Casey, Andrew, Nikki, Lucie, and Helena.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Terry and Margaret Ann, and son-in-law Ron Wass.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hinckley. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will follow in Granger Fairview Cemetery.
