Randy L. Carver, 57, of Chesterland, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010. Raised in Windham, yet grew to be a proud Buckeye. He was among many brave souls in the US Army Reserve. His passion for teaching and education will carry on with those he left behind. He enjoyed the wonders of nature and he was a loving son, brother and father.
He is survived by his daughters Mary (Joseph) Tufts of Columbus, and Katie Carver of Columbus; sisters, Kathy (Bill) McCrae of Windham, Sandy Lambert of West Virginia, and Lori (Keith) House of Alliance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Loreen (Pitsinger) Carver Sr. and brothers, Dale Jr. and Barry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 10-12 P.M. followed by his funeral service at noon at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, OH 44231. Burial will follow at Drakesburg Cemetery in Freedom Township.
