RICHARD "DICK" MATSON

Richard “Dick” Donald Matson, 71, of Aurora, passed away on June 22, 2015, with his family by his side. Richard was born on March 17, 1944 to Ernest and Annabelle (nee Washam) Matson.
Richard was a member of the Crossroad Bible Fellowship in Akron, Ohio. He was an avid collector of nutcrackers. He loved spending time with his beloved family and friends.
He is survived by his brother, Bob (Cindy) Matson of Garrettsville; nephews, Michael Matson of Cincinnati, John Matson of Garrettsville; nieces, Robin (Jeffrey) Perrotti of Washington and Mary Beth Matson of Indiana.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents.
Private family viewing. Graveside services were held at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio.
Arrangements were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231.
