RICHARD A. PLAVECSKI

Richard A. Plavecski, age 66, of Brunswick, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015. He was born on September 3, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio, to John and Mary Plavecski.

Richard was a Veteran of the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam conflict. He was an active officer of the VFW Post #5563 in Valley City, Ohio. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family.

Richard will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Pamela (nee Jablonski); daughters, Stacey (Wayne) Yanetta, Diane, Allison (Christian Kittelson); brother, Joseph (Kathy); and sister, Donna Kolojek (Donald).

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2015, at 10:00 AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Rittman, Ohio.
