RITA ROSE RUIZ

July 1, 1928 — August 16, 2016

Rita Rose Ruiz, of Brunswick, OH, passed peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, August
16, 2016 at the age of 88. She was born July 1, 1928 in Mosta, Malta to Michael and
Carimela (nee Saliba) DeGura.

On July 18, 1952, she married the love of her life Ceferino Ruiz. He preceded her in death after 15 years of beautiful marriage. She is also preceded in death by
her loving son, Raymond Ruiz and her grandson, Michael Daniel Ruiz. She is survived
by her children, Joseph, Mary (Russell), Lawrence (Denna), Veronica (Jeff) and
Robert (Tracy). She also leaves behind her 16 grandchildren and 15 great
grandchildren.

To all who knew Busa Nana, she was a beautiful lady who had a charitable heart and
would always greet you with a warm smile. She loved crocheting, singing, visiting
her friends at Sara Care, and spending time with the ones she loved. Her life was a
dedication to God, her family, and to helping others. As a survivor of World War II,
she has witnessed many momentous changes and new developments that have
occurred over her lifetime. She was an inspiring lady who was filled with an abundance of
love and who leaves behind a ton of great memories. She will be forever cherished and
remembered.

In honoring the family's wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, August 18,2016 at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, 2869 Grafton Rd., Brunswick, OH.
