Robert Michael "Mike" May

Photo: Obituary: Robert “Mike” May, 62 of Kings Mountain, NC passed away at his residence on Friday, April 13, 2012. He was born September 27, 1949 in Warren, Ohio to Robert and Mary Ethyl (Karakannas) D’Francis and lived in this area most of his life. Mike served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was a machinist. He is survived by his step-children James Kren of Parma, William (Pam) Kren of Thompson and Bunnie (Robert) Cobb of Chesterland; sisters Leslie (Dennis) Bowers of Uniontown and Millie (Vernon) Goodrich of NC; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and his special Maltese friend “Buddy”. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" of 18 years. Graveside services will be at 2 PM on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Windham Twp. Cemetery with military honors.
