Ronald Raymond Phillips, 41 of Medina passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2010 unexpectedly. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on October 21, 1968 to Ronnie R. and Jacqueline (nee Borck) Phillips.
Ronald served in the United States Army Special Forces achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class and he was serving as a United States Federal Air Marshal.
Ron is survived by his wife Melissa (nee Gaskill ), children; Abby, Alissa and Christian, his mother Jackie, sister; Kimberly Phillips and his first wife and friend, Ann.
Preceding him in death was his father.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2010 from 2 to 4 PM & 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. There will also be Visitation beginning at 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Grace Christian & Missionary Alliance Church 7393 Pearl Road Middleburg Hts, Ohio 44130 prior to the Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 1 PM. Pastor Jonathan Schaeffer officiating. Burial on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at 12 Noon in Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, Ohio.
