ROSE MCNOLDY

Rose Miller-McNoldy (nee Berry) “Momma Rose”, age 98, of Brunswick, passed away on February 24, 2019. She was born on July 31, 1920 in Mayo, Ireland to the late Michael and Agnes (nee Casey) Berry.

Rose was a Founder of St. Ambrose Parish and a member of the Women’s Guild. She was a past member of St. Charles Catholic Church and a charter member of the Brunswick Eagles. She loved going to the many events in the area with her family, especially for the games of chance! Rose also enjoyed St. Patty’s Day at the Buckeye. Rose would still like to know: “Who’s got my purse?”

She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Kathleen (Gene) Markowski, Cheryl (Mike) Novak; step children, Marian (Rod) Fox, James McNoldy, Charles (Diane) McNoldy; loving grandchildren, Monique (David) Zubek, Jeanine Markowski, Melissa Hardy, Stacie Price, Jennifer (Kevin) Haessly, Scott (Ashlee) Novak; dearest great grandchildren, Alex, Chad, Drew, Grayson, Anthony, Allison, Shayla, McKenzie, Brennan, Colleen Mary, Molly Rose; many loving nieces and nephews; and special friends, Carol Coughlin and her family.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; her first husband, Robert Miller, children, Robert “Porky” Miller, Thomas Miller, Mary “Ketty” (Karl) Anderson; siblings, William, Mary, Eleanor, Margaret, and Anne.

Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road, (1/2 mile south of Route 303) Brunswick, OH 44212. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Rose on Saturday, March 2 at 11:00AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 5891 Ridge Rd, Parma, OH 44129. There will be a procession to Mass from the funeral home leaving at 9:30AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brookpark, OH.
