SAMUEL LEE CASTLE

January 6, 1944 — November 19, 2013

Samuel L. Castle, age 69, of Willowick, passed away at the Chardon Health Care Center on Monday, November 18, 2013. He was born in Omar, West Virginia on January 6, 1944 to Daniel and Lillie (nee Queen) Castle.

Samuel was a Veteran discharged from the United States Army in 1970. He was employed with MS Carrier as a truck driver. His memberships include Steelworker Local # 484, and a 20 year member of the Granger Fire Department. Samuel loved everything about the water; lighthouses, boats and he enjoyed all types of music.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Linda (nee Calvert), sons; Ronald and John (Melissa), daughter, Debbie (Brian) Anderson, grandchildren; Amanda, Katie, James, Jacob, Sarah, Rachel, Jessica and great-grandchildren; Elizabeth, Cheyene, Matthew, Elijah, Bryson, Brooklyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; James and Richard.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home, 3477 Medina Road (corner of Rt. 18 & River Styx Rd) Medina, Ohio. Additional Visitation on Friday, November 22, 2013 from 11 AM to 12 Noon also at the funeral home. Funeral Service to follow at 12 Noon with Rev. Michael Vanarsdale officiating. Burial to follow in Eastlawn Memory Gardens, Brunswick,Ohio.
