Sharon K. Johnson, 67 of Medina passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born March 1, 1943 in Urichsville, Ohio to Harold and Katherine (nee Halter) Bennington and was a homemaker.
She enjoyed camping, crocheting, crosswords, reading, and cooking. She was very outgoing and loved people.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband James Johnson Sr.; children James Jr., David (Kimberly), Greg (Kelly), and Holly (Rob); brothers Pat and Ron; grandchildren Amber, Haley, David, Heather, Michael, William Kori, Trinity, and Emily; and great-granddaughters Madalin and Mackenzie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Judy Marshall, and brothers Butch and Harold.
Friends may join the family for visitation on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 and Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (Corner of Route 18 & River Styx Road), Medina. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Zachary Kawalec officiating. Interment will follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
