Shirley Fichter 76, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles and Anna (nee Jackamo) Breno on October 8, 1935.
Shirley enjoyed raising her 5 daughters and 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed her cats and spending 58 years with her husband, going to casinos, and enjoyed going for joy rides in the car. Shirley worked part time at Ironwood Golf Course.
She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband, Bruce, daughters; Yvonne Fichter, Linda (Gregory) Bahas, Carolyn (Joe) Hege, Kathleen (Dave ) Murray, Laura Fichter (Paul Goodman), her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brothers; Robert and Charles Breno, and brother in law Joe Stelmach and many nieces and nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents and brothers; Eugene and Raymond and sister Gloria Stelmach.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Home 3477 Medina Rd. Medina (Rt. 18 & River Styx Rd), Ohio. Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Mollie Brown on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial in Reid Hill Cemetery, Granger Twp.
