Stephan Eckrich, 72, of Brunswick passed away on September 12, 2012. He was born in Dunaharaszti, Hungary to Karoly and Katalin (nee Frankoviks) Eckrich.
He is survived by his beloved wife Katherine “Kay” (nee Whitecar); loving children; Steven (Sandra), Michael and Cynthia; sister Maria Hirselj and a devoted grandfather to Chadwick, Stephanie, Dylan, Steven, Gregory, Mariah and Michael. Stephan worked at General Motors as an inspector. He was an Officer in the Ohio National Guard and was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may join the family for a Celebration of Life on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM with services following at 8:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 1642 Pearl Road (½ mile South of Route 303), Brunswick. Family suggest contributions may be to Hospice Services of Southwest General 18659 Drake Road Strongsville, Ohio 44136.
