Steven A. “Steve” Smithberger, 42, of Windham passed away on September 18, 2018. He was born on May 8, 1976 in Warren, Ohio to Raymond and Virginia (Lyons) Smithberger. Steve married the love of his life, Samantha (Binegar) Smithberger, on August 11, 2007.
He enjoyed riding his Harley, going to concerts and singing karaoke. His favorite musician was Aaron Lewis. Steve was a Windham Hot Stove coach for many years. Steve had many joys in his life, but nothing made him happier than spending time with his family especially his sons.
Steve is survived by his wife, Samantha; children, Jordan and Bryan; parents, Raymond and Virginia Smithberger; brothers, Raymond (Tammy), Roger (Elizabeth), Randy (Tamara) and Brian (Jennifer); sisters, Tammy Lyons and Regina (Clayton) Fisher and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2-5 PM and Monday, September 24, 2018 from 11 AM-12 PM at Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8382 Center St., Garrettsville, Ohio 44231. Service to be held on Monday, September 24, 2018, 12 PM at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Windham Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Steve’s name in care of the funeral home.
