Tammy L. Bortz, 53, of Windham, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. She was born February 2, 1967, in Ravenna, Ohio to Charles & Dina (Summers) VanSteenberg.
She was employed at Great Lakes Cheese Factory for over 20 years. She enjoyed taking care of her flower beds and yard, watching Cleveland sports, spending time with her children, her grandchildren, and her pets.
Tammy will be deeply missed by her beloved children, Justin (Rachel) Bortz of North Bloomfield, Megan (Cody) Proctor and Ashton Eskins, both of Windham; Her loving parents, Charles and Dina Vansteenberg of Freedom; siblings, Trish (David) Hickel of West Virginia, Terry (Tina) Vansteenberg of Windham, Teslie (Bill) Tanner of Ravenna, and Tony (Karen) Vansteenberg of Windham; Her adored grandchildren, Tyler, Harleigh, Hayden and Holton; She will also be deeply missed by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ruth and Ronzell Summers and paternal grandparents, William and Laura Vansteenberg.
Services for Tammy are private and were entrusted to Mallory-DeHaven-Carlson Funeral Home & Cremation Services 8382 Center Street, Garrettsville, Ohio, 44231.
