THERESA M. BURNS

Theresa M. Burns, age 76, resident of Medina Township, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014. She was born on December 27, 1937 to James V Rizzo and Mary A. (nee McDonald) in Cleveland, Ohio.
She enjoyed camping and quilting. She will be dearly missed; by her beloved husband of 58 years Michael (Mike), loving daughters and sons; Kathleen (Craig) Staufer, Mary Ann Burns (David Dalton), James R. Burns, and Michael (Ayana) Burns also 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Patricia Ann, and brother James Rizzo.
The family invites friends for Visitation on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Carlson Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 3477 Medina Road (corner of River Styx and Rt.18), Medina, Ohio 44256. Visitation also 9 to 10 AM prior to 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Holy Martyrs Church 3100 Old Weymouth Road, Medina, Ohio. (Please meet at the church). Fr. Stephen Dohner officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery Wadsworth, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Hospice of Medina County 5075 Windfall Road, Medina, Ohio 44256.
