Upon graduation, Tom entered the U.S. Marine Corp. He received the National Defense Service Medal and achieved the rank of Corporal. His entire working career revolved around cars; starting as an auto mechanic and working up to an automotive service manager for a large dealership. He loved helping his friends and volunteered much time wherever needed. Tom leaves behind his father, Pat Patrick; brother, Chris (Cathy) Patrick; sister, Cindie (Berndt) Schneider; nephew Michael (Ashleigh) Schneider; nieces Hayley Schneider and Bridget Patrick; special aunt and uncle Bev & Mike Armstrong and numerous cousins and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Patrick and brothers Gary Hauck and David Patrick. A funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 929 Pearl Rd., Brunswick, followed by a gathering to celebrate Tom’s life at the Old Mill Village Party Center, 1232 Old Eagle Dr., Brunswick.
